Weekly Commander and Friday Night Magic events

What is an MTG Commander Event?

MTG Commander is one of the most popular formats of Magic: The Gathering .
You build a 100-card deck around a legendary creature – your Commander – and play in sociable multiplayer rounds with 3–4 players.

What to expect:
🔹 Decks full of variety – each card is only allowed once (except for standard countries)
🔹 40 life points for longer, more exciting games
🔹 Your Commander as the central figure of your deck

The best:
 Our MTG Commander events in Garmisch-Partenkirchen are relaxed, fun-oriented, and ideal for beginners. The community helps with getting started, and often there are even decks available to borrow. Besides the standard rounds, you'll also find special variations for new set releases.

Registration:
 Registration is very easy, either in person at the store or by email to info@trinket-mage.eu.
Alternatively, you can also log in via the Magic Companion app.

Note:
 You need an active WPN account and the respective registration code for the event (you can find this in the event calendar) to be able to register.

Our Standard Commander events take place regularly – perfect for bringing out your favorite deck and playing with other players in a friendly atmosphere. Join us and experience epic moments.

What is Friday Night Magic?

Friday Night Magic (FNM) is the weekly event that forms the heart of the Magic: The Gathering community. Every Friday, players meet to play Magic together – whether it's a draft, Standard, Commander, or another format. The format is flexible and adapted to the community's preferences.

🔹 Players of all experience levels welcome

The best:
FNM is more than just an event – it's the meeting place for Magic fans. Here you can meet new people, try out new things, and have a chance to win cool prizes like promo cards or boosters. Whether you're playing your first event or have been around for a while – at FNM it's all about fun and community.

Friday Night Magic at Trinket Mage
